Seagroves Farm Park - Apex, NC

While the Triangle is home to many sprawling parks with hundreds of acres, there are also plenty of quaint, small parks sitting on a few acres that are worth your time where you can still have fun. The Town of Apex has a handful of these small parks that they call “neighborhood parks,” and one of our favorites is Seagroves Farm Park.

Seagroves Farm Park sits on 11 acres and has a cute treehouse-themed playground, a picnic shelter (with bathrooms), a short paved pathway through the woods, and a beautiful small pond with a dock for fishing.

We love coming out here with Peter when we’re looking for a little more of a low-key day and letting him get in some scooter time on the pathway around the lake.

Have you been to any of Apex’s neighborhood parks? Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
