North Cary Park - Cary, NC

The past few parks we’ve been to have generally had a steady stream of people also enjoying the trails, so when we were at North Cary Park last week, it was nice to be back in a place where we felt we had the area to ourselves and barely saw anyone. North Cary Park has some great winding trails with lots of tree cover that we enjoyed exploring. The trails also provide access to the Black Creek Greenway, which we have explored before, but did not make it to on this visit because we had plenty to do exploring the park’s trails. Some other highlights include beach volleyball courts, a basketball court, other sports fields, a beautiful bridge, and a rock climbing area. Peter’s a bit young for the climbing, but he did love running around on the squishy around the faux boulders. This is a park we’ll definitely be visiting again. Hope everyone has a great weekend and can get out and explore some nature!
