Explore S'more - Town of Apex, NC

A few days ago, we learned about a fun, FREE event hosted every year by the Town of Apex called "Explore S'more" where people can come out to roast a s'more and enjoy some time in the outdoors at an Apex park. We went to this event tonight and had an absolutely fantastic time. The turn out was great and Peter enjoyed roasting a s'more with his dad and playing in the grass with the other kids. Everything you needed to make the s'mores was free and provided by friendly staff. They also served water, were giving out free inflatable balls, and had a tent where kids could learn about bugs and critters that the park staff had pulled out of the adjacent pond just a few hours earlier. Thank you very much to the Town of Apex and the staff - we are looking forward to when this event comes around again next year!
