Photos taken 10 minutes ago - the sunflowers are open for business at Dorothea Dix Park! Many more will be opening soon, but there are still some incredible areas that are ready for your visit. (Yes, those ones in the last photo are taller than me and I’m 5’8”.)

Please do not pick the sunflowers. As I was walking in, I saw someone walking out with some. This field is to admire their beauty, not a U-Pick. Plus, after the bloom, the sunflowers are processed to make biodiesel.
